Reviews and Ratings
The hotel is centrally located, close to the main attractions in Reykjavik. The rooms were clean and comfortable, but some areas felt a bit neglected. The service was mixed, with some staff members being unhelpful. The location is excellent for exploring the city on foot or using public transportation. The dining options were enjoyable, although some improvements could be made. Overall, a decent stay with good value for money.
My stay at the hotel was fantastic. The larger room I had was incredibly spacious and comfortable, perfect for enjoying the midnight sun. However, it did get quite hot inside. The staff was more than happy to help with arranging tours and bus pickups, making my vacation stress-free. The location was superb, just steps away from Reykjavik's main street and conveniently serving as a pick-up/drop-off spot for the airport bus. The dining experience was excellent, with a variety that even surpassed many complimentary breakfasts I've had in the states, saving me money. The facilities were well-rounded and offered everything I needed during my stay.
Staying in this hotel was a great experience. The rooms were spacious and comfortable, perfect for enjoying the midnight sun. However, they felt a bit cramped at times. The service was extremely nice and helpful, although not very proactive in suggesting low-budget options. The location couldn't be better, right in the town center near all the lively spots. The dining experience catered to different tastes, though some items ran out quickly. Overall, a good value for the money.
The hotel had a weird room configuration, and the temperature control was challenging. On the bright side, the room was comfortable and very clean. The breakfast was disappointing, and overall cleanliness was lacking.
The hotel is conveniently located at the entrance of the main street of Reykjavik, making it a great starting point for exploring the city. The rooms were on the smaller side and had a slight sewage smell issue, but the staff was friendly and helpful. The dining experience was top-notch, resembling some of the best restaurants in continental Europe. However, the hotel lacks facilities and only accepts cash in ISK despite pricing in Euro.
I had a lovely stay at the hotel. The location was fabulous, right at the beginning of the main street with all the bars, restaurants, shops, and cafes. The breakfast was amazing, but the fact that they only accept cash in ISK despite the price being quoted in Euro was a bit inconvenient.
The hotel's location is fantastic, with convenient access to the city and plenty of amenities nearby. The rooms were clean and well-serviced during my stay, although lacking a window and slightly below my price-expectation level. The service was a mix of helpfulness and friendliness, with some minor hiccups in low-budget recommendations. Dining options offered many choices with a decent level of service. Overall, a good value for the price paid.
